Privacy Policy

Effective: August 2, 2026

Mmmon ("we", "us") is a game where you photograph everyday objects to discover spirits and create collectible cards. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Mmmon iOS app and mmmon.app.

What we collect

How AI is used

Mmmon uses generative AI to analyze your capture photos, write spirit descriptions, and create creature and card art. Your photos are sent to third-party AI providers (such as Google's Gemini API and image-generation services) solely to produce your game content. AI output can be imperfect. Do not submit photos containing sensitive, private, or unlawful content.

What we don't do

Public content

Public cards (art, name, lore, your handle) are visible to other players and to anyone with a share link. Cards set to private are hidden from public feeds, packs, the map, and sharing, and their generated media requires an authorized, short-lived link.

Official features and social rewards

If you separately allow official features, public card art and lore may be selected to create posts for Mmmon's official social channels. This does not include your original capture photo, email, real name, face, voice, precise location, or private account details. You can withdraw this permission in Settings. Withdrawal stops future generation and requests removal of posts managed by Mmmon, although third-party reposts may remain outside our control.

If you request credits for your own public social post, we store the post URL and a one-time proof token so automated checks or an authorized reviewer can confirm eligibility and prevent duplicate rewards. Platform pages that cannot be checked automatically go to manual review. We use reward records for fraud prevention and do not infer or store the recipients of your shares.

Where your data lives

Data is stored with our backend provider (Supabase) and processed by the AI and infrastructure providers named above, under their own security and privacy commitments.

Retention and deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account any time in Settings → Delete Account, which removes your account records, collections, device push tokens, generated content, and associated stored media. You can also email us to request deletion.

Reporting and blocking

You can report any community card or keeper from inside the app, and block keepers so their content no longer appears for you. Reported content is reviewed promptly and removed if it violates our Terms of Use.

Children

Mmmon is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Contact us and we'll honor applicable requests.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update this page and note it in the app before the changes take effect.
